Account Registration

• Account Creation: You can create an account using your email and password or sign in using Google.

• Profile Privacy: Your profile is initially set to private, meaning only your friends can see your information. You can adjust your privacy settings to allow just yourself, your friends, or everyone to see your profile.

  User Activities

• Favorite and Follow: You can favorite bands and venues to follow their upcoming events.

• Calendar and Sharing: You can add events to your calendar, share them with friends, and show your attendance.

• Reporting: You can report events, bands, venues, and other users with an open format complaint. However, using the report feature does not guarantee action will be taken against the reported event or profile.

  Adding Bands and Venues

• Request to Add: You can request to add your own band or venue. LocalSound's support team will verify the validity of the band/venue to the best of our ability. However, mistakes may occur, and reports are encouraged to correct inaccurate accounts. Any band or venue that sees someone falsely using their information should report their findings immediately.

  Venue Activities

• Event Posting: Venues can post events happening at their location and open gigs that bands can apply for.

• Communication: Venues can chat with bands and other venues for planning purposes.

• Social Media Links: Venues can attach their social media links to their profile for users to see.

  Band Activities

• Event Posting: Bands can post their upcoming events and apply for open gigs posted by venues.

• Communication: Bands can reach out to venues and other bands to chat.

  Event Management

• Event Details: Events include a date, location, picture, genre, and parking information.

• Management: Venues and bands can add, edit, and delete their own events. They are responsible for creating their own event posters. LocalSound will take down any graphic/nudity/hyper vulgarity that is posted in an event or profile of any kind.

  Information Accuracy All information provided on LocalSound is based on best effort and is unvalidated. Users, bands, and venues are responsible for the accuracy of their posted information. Links shared within the app are not confirmed to be accurate and should be used at the user's own risk.

  User Conduct

• Respectful Interaction: Users are expected to interact respectfully with others. Harassment, abusive behavior, or any form of discrimination will not be tolerated.

• Reporting Misconduct: Users can report inappropriate behavior or content, and LocalSound will take appropriate action.

  Privacy and Data Use

• Ads: Ads displayed in the app are not targeted and do not use user data.

• Email Privacy: User emails are not viewable by anyone except the user. No contact information is viewable for other users.

• Data Security: Data is stored within Google Firebase, using their security measures.

  LocalSound is not liable for any inaccuracies or misrepresentations in the information provided by users, bands, or venues. Use of the app is at your own risk. Ticket sales through links are not covered by LocalSound or guaranteed in any way.

• Termination of Accounts Accounts may be terminated if they are found to be falsifying information or having a negative impact on the community.

• Changes to Terms LocalSound reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be notified of any changes, and continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

• Governing Law These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which LocalSound operates.
